Technical Architect - IT Infrastructure - Media

- Ensure that the design solutions are aligned to business requirements

- Assess solutions for their commercial merits and provide appropriate recommendations

- Ensure that recommended architecture is in line with industry best practices and current technology

- Ensure that the designs and subsequent systems are aligned to the commercial objectives and reflect technical best practices

- Keep abreast of new technology, methods and techniques to understand how they might be applied to the client's environment

- Provide a high-level perspective on the client ITD's evolving architecture in order to increase the client's ITD maturity level.

- Understand client business need and drive technical requirement to design a solution addressing client business requirements, Design a viable solution covering all the technical from a business and functional aspect, Ensure all the BID process are followed religiously and share the gap identified to improve the BID life cycles, Should be technically well versed with ITO skills

- Research and provide technology strategy for organization to meet business objectives.

- Help operational teams in Solutioning and launching improvements in existing IT infrastructure

- Special Requirements, if any: Skills Required

- Knowledge of hosting Solution (Data Centre Technology, Mid range server), Windows Technologies, Linux/Unix/Solaris, Virtualization Technology fundamental knowledge (LPAR/VPAR, Virtual Image, NPAR/VPAR), Network Skills, Storage design skills .

- Good across the Functions communication skills to better understand the Expectation & Deliverables.

- Good at sizing or scaling the solutions while optimizing the existing deployments.

- Excellent B2E/B2B understandings for designing the state of the Art Solutions.

Preferred Certifications:-

- Cisco/Microsoft/ITIL/Vmware/Sun/Linux/HP/IBM/Juniper/Nortel

- Any experience in designing solutions for Media industry will be an added advantage.
