Lead Transition Manager
Responsibilities :
- To ensure the operationalization of Domain based Transition Methodologies so as to ensure customer value is maximized
- Responsible for reviewing and signoff of all solutions provided in new deals
- Responsible for planning, resourcing and review of all transition projects
- Utilization of Transition Managers.
Business Development :
Support :
- Create offerings based Collateral and artifacts that will be used for customer presentations
- Owns the transition solutioning for RFIs / RFPs with a focus on creating business value for client through a consultative relationship with client / geography sales teams / delivery managers.
- Looking at the next quarter projections and inputs from the key resource calls and Develop the team ready for the future projects.
- Transition Health Monitoring & Sign -off.
- Reviews and signs off on Transition Plans & interfaces with the customer as appropriate during critical stages of transition.
- Corrective actions coming out of Voice of Customer.
- Reviews adherence of transition to planned timelines.
- Ensure FTE estimation & SLAs are reviewed and appropriate measurement systems are put in place to capture operational metrics.
- Ensures succession planning is done for transition project manger roles in key transition engagements.
- Utilization of Transition Managers Handling customer escalations.
- Serves as the point of escalation for customers in transition related matters (related to methodology validation, transition milestones, staffing, training, etc.)
People Development :
- Contributes to the creation of development plans for potential transition managers mentors them as applicable.
- Sets reasonable, challenging and clear performance goals for direct reports, communicates expectations clearly, monitors performance & provides appropriate feedback
- Train the Transition Managers on the updated Transition
- Methodologies in order to enhance their skillsets
- Train the transition managers on the Domain ( E0 level )
- Ensures cost-budget compliance Review Project FMEAs and ensure all risks have been identified and appropriate mitigation plan is defined
- Supports the creation of reusable assets in engagements & share as appropriate
- Shares best-practices, ensures standardization & replication of processes
- Monitors gaps in one's own required competencies & creates a development plan vis-a-vis one's current / aspirational role in discussion with manager
- Enrolls for relevant learning / development programs to bridge competency gaps.
