Overall purpose of role:  Responsible for tax compliances and reportings, tax computations and month end closure from a tax perspective for identified entities and clusters. Participate in audits of accounts and processes.  Key Accountabilities and Skills required:  Tax Compliances and Regulatory Reporting (60%)  - Manage direct and indirect tax computations, accounting and reporting's.  - Monthly and quarterly computation for advance tax, deferred tax and current tax for identified entities and clusters  - Monitoring accurate and timely compliances / filings for direct and indirect tax returns  - Assisting during statutory audits and managing Tax audit, Transfer pricing audit and Value added tax audits  - Making foreign remittances in line with the income tax laws  - Liaise with group reporting teams with for Automated Taxation Templates & Tax Reporting Templates  - Responsible for embedment of necessary controls within the processes to ensure that there are no operational risks being run by the team  Audit (30%)  - Participate in statutory / internal audits  Others (10%)  Manage effective documentation of all processes and identify opportunities for efficiencies:  Provide relevant MIS to management on a periodic basis  Stakeholder management and leadership:  Role will have interaction with stakeholders at regular interval.  Decision making and problem solving:  Role will require problem solving abilities and enhancing existing processes relating to tax compliance and Group tax reporting.  Risk and Control:  You will have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards.  Your Skills and Qualifications will include  - Qualified Chartered Accountant or any other accounting/finance related degree.  - Experience in financial accounting and regulatory reporting  - Knowledge of RBI guidelines and Tax Laws.  - Strong stakeholder engagement skills and understanding their requirements for effective execution  - Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, pro active and a team player.  - Good IT System skills  - Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator. Desire to provide top quality service to internal stakeholders from different areas of the firm /geographies  - Willingness and ability to take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolution.  - Eye for detail and exception track record in managing and resolving conflict situations
