Tax Analyst - Financial Operations - Tax Group

- We are seeking an Analyst for our Tax group based in Hyderabad. The group performs quarterly and annual tax filings, which are filed with the Internal Revenue Service and appropriate U.S. state tax authorities.

- The responsibilities of the group also include issue of annual K-1/PFIC statements and quarterly tax estimate statements to investors, creation and analysis of tax reports that involve detailed instrument level analysis as per U.S. federal tax laws.

- The group supports the tax planning team on trading-related tax compliance reports and illiquid deal analysis for private equity deals. The role requires close interaction with various internal groups and external tax advisors/attorneys.

- The ideal candidate will be a CA or MBA with 3 years of working experience in U.S. hedge fund or private equity taxation, which includes preparation of tax work papers, K-1s, preparation of U.S. federal & state tax return for partnership and corporations.

- The candidate should be proactive and possess strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are essential; good understanding of financial instruments will be a strong plus.
