Job Profile : Associate - for a Private Equity Fund

Qualification - IIT/IIM compulsory

Key Objective of the Job : To assist the investment team in deal sourcing, evaluation & execution

Major Deliverables :

- Responsible for sourcing transactions through strong industry and other professional networks

- Business and financial diligence of the transaction for possible investment

- Responsible to provide analytical, financial modeling, valuation modeling, drafting, research and general support in all aspects of execution and feasibility analysis of new investment opportunities.

- Execution of transaction for closure & tracking performance of the investment post closure

Educational Qualification : MBA/Engineer

Desired Experience :

- 2-3 years of past Private Equity or relevant experience

Specialized job competencies :

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Good presentation skills

- Good business evaluation skills (industry analysis, financial & valuation analysis)

- Strong team player

- Ability to maintain data confidentiality

- Analytical and interpersonal skills

- Collaborative and co-ordination skills

- Self-motivated, organized in approach

Other desired attributes :

- Familiarity with applications including excel & PowerPoint & corporate database and research tools.
