Main Purpose of the Role :
Responsible for the successful implementation of Tarantula products in a customer environment within agreed scope, timelines and budget. In charge of overseeing multiple projects concurrently.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities :
Project Management :
- Drive and own the entire implementation project cycle from inception to delivery.
- Work with Sales and Customer Solutions groups and interact with customers to define and develop the implementation plan including functional and technical requirements.
- Effectively manage changes to scope through constructive discussions with the customer, robust change request processes, appropriate documentation, and required approvals along with participation of relevant Account Managers.
- Create the project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, acceptance criteria, process, required resources, budget, and timelines.
- Assess risks proactively and mitigate them with support from stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, within budget.
- Effectively track project milestones. Provide periodic status report to all stakeholders including the team members, Tarantula leadership team, and customers.
- Produce and present clear, concise, and professionally written communications
- Responsible for people management. Set concise and clear expectations about project deliverables and guide the project team using appropriate methods and best practices to achieve on-target project completion.
- Responsible for the maintenance of knowledge base among the team members and guiding the team in enhancing technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
Client Relationship Management :
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned corporate clients throughout the implementation process, maintaining a client-focused, yet firm approach with regard to agreed contract.
- Develop and sustain productive customer relationships while meeting the goals of the project and the responsibilities towards Tarantula to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Educational qualifications required :
- Must be a BE, BTech, or MCA graduate. A Master's degree in Business Administration would be an added benefit.
- PMP certification is required.
Experience/knowledge required :
- Acted as a Project Manager / Delivery Manager handling project delivery for at least 5 years with a team size of 10 or more resources.
- Over 10 years of experience in implementing products and services within enterprise systems, ERP and business systems in an international environment.
- Has demonstrated financial success having handled P&L related to a project.
- Expertise in effort estimation techniques, project planning, execution, and people management.
- Adeptness in project management tools and related software packages.
- Proven track record in successful handling of multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience in managing direct customer interactions and delivering project-related financial results.
- Has cross-cultural experience working across multiple geographical regions (especially in APAC and EMEA).
- Willingness to travel internationally according to business requirements is a must for this role.
