All this, while constantly keeping sight of the critical goal of increasing the velocity of money movement in businesses.  Designation : Product Manager - API  Function/Group : Product Management  Experience : 6-10 years  Role & Responsibilities :  - Experience in the Accounting and Financial Services segment  - Hands on experience in Accounting and banking practices; preferably experience in SME Banking  - Preferably experience in a software product/project management revolving around the accounting domain   - Preferably experience in software solution designing & implementation  - Experience in building and managing larger teams  - Responsible for the Functional Experience Design for functionalities around the accounting operations aspects of customers  - Responsible for liaising with third parties/vendors/systems (as and when required) to drive efficient and best solutions. Highlight Tally's product offering and articulate the value proposition to the client through product demonstration and presentations   - Responsible for pre-sales, scoping/functional requirement study, feasibility study, and solution/gap analysis of clients  - Responsible for converting business requirements in to functional specifications with close consultation with the process owners, and clients  - Responsible for participating in the design and architecture discussions to provide relevant business scenarios to arrive at the right functional design/approach and also ensure alignment of the team accordingly  - Responsible for completeness and correctness of domain (for the targeted audience), and true to the non-functional characteristics (simplicity, flexibility, reliability etc.) of the products/services  - Influence the Release definition(s) to ensure that - right scope for right audience- is taken into account, and influence - cut audience versus cut story for audience- when time/resource constraints are being considered  - Responsible for acquiring and developing domain expertise and upkeep - for theory and practice in the market  - Ownership of the product adoption/usage of banking domain by the relevant target audiences/market  - Responsible for Knowledge Transfer, and to drive adoption by being available for evangelization during release/product launch and post-launch activities  - Responsible for the backlog of domain aspects for future releases, which would lead to greater adoption and/or greater stickiness and therefore, influencing future releases  - Managing a team of FED & developers.
