SyberPlace - Business Manager - Logistics

Our organization is presently seeking a Logistics Manager to lead, develop and implement logistics procedures and strategies to ensure the delivery of SyberPlace products to customers without interruption.

- The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring inventory is adequately maintained to meet the sales demand of our commercial products and timely fulfillment is done.

- This objective requires actively managing the following processes: “inventory control and management” and “on time delivery of products”.

- He continually reviews processes and procedures to ensure complete customer satisfaction at the best cost for the company. He is tasked with providing one day delivery to all customers pan India.

- He manages the relationships with the different logistics partners of the company.

- This position is based out of Hyderabad and Bangalore locations.

Job Responsibilities:

Logistics and Operations:

- Responsible for managing the logistics around outbound orders and inbound purchase orders.

- Create a reverse logistics SOP

- Monitor and oversee invoicing for a wide range of products

- Use logistics data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

- Work with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the fulfillment center to design processes and ensure a great service delivery experience for our customers

- Continually review and optimize all logistics processes. Create logistic procedure manuals to aid in the training and induction of staff members

- Report on operational impact to net margins and find ways to help drive profitability

Inventory Control:

- Monitor inbound shipments and resolve exceptions (damages, shortages, incorrect material)

- Investigate, review and resolve stock exceptions both pre-shipment and post-shipment

- Manage inventory levels in all warehouses and maximize inventory efficiency, processes for related stock transfer among the different warehouses.

- Design system for reviewing inventory adjustments, inventory audit and monitoring trends, reporting as appropriate to management

- Ensure that proper control procedures are followed in inbound and outbound warehouse flows

Qualifications:

- Masters Degree in Operations Management from any of the top schools with at least 65%.

- 5-7 years Logistics/Supply Chain experience, preferably 2-3 years as operations manager/ Asst. Manager- Operations in any of the top logistics companies like Bluedart/ Fedex/ Gati/ Delhivery etc.

- 1-2 years experience in warehouse management

Skills, Competencies & Languages:

- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience in managing teams

- A proven self-starter with strategic thinking and strong analytical/problem solving skills

- Highly organized : ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and set appropriate priorities

- Excellent interpersonal skills: a consensus builder, works cross functionally and is motivating and engaging; customer focused personality

- Strong negotiation skills
