Job Summary:- This position will be a part of the Finance team and will be leading the controllership team working closely with the Head of Finance for new initiatives to drive the accounting and controllership. Key responsibilities include Long term strategic planning, setting up areas in accounting, product design, taxation, compliance, audits, structural and transaction designs for the businesses. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have demonstrated the ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business in areas of accounting, taxation, audits, compliance and governance. Key responsibilities:- - Drive setting up the accounting infrastructure for new businesses along with the accounting tool design and necessary finance tech and product creation with the product team - Work with Business Finance leads for each of the functions and set targets in conjunction with them - Investor reporting - Creation and reporting of Monthly MIS and investor decks - Drive financial reviews with Cities and functional leaders on meeting growth and Unit Economics targets - Create compliances framework across taxation, labor laws, audits and other compliances as may be applicable to the businesses - Creating financial models and presentations for funding and ad-hoc investor related work including audits - Work on cost optimization and automation projects to create a more effective Pl. - Optimization of the Indirect costs and setting up the right processes for review and control of costs - Deliver P&amp;L and Balance sheets of business with accuracy and related MIS for monthly reviews - Set up processes in the business for good governance and necessary approval mechanism at transaction level and design level for day to day activities. Best Fit Profile:- - 6 Years of experience post qualification - CA is Mandatory - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and influence cross functional teams - Self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new ways of approaching business problems - Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
