Subject Matter Expert - Indirect Tax - Big4

Key Responsibilities

- Project implementation for Indirect TAX requirements and issue resolution within end to end business and finance transactional flows.

- Strong knowledge of Transaction tax environment and key mechanisms.

- Manage within a complex system environment to address setup limitations and propose appropriate compliant solutions.

- Understanding of different regulations, VAT group setup and benefits, Customer exemptions and understanding of different treatment for product and services across the different countries.

- Consultant needs to be at the level to work autonomously, driving project charters, scope assessment, requirement definition and solutions, but at the same time partners with Client stakeholders to address necessary questions efficiently and concisely, and to share outcomes.

- Ability to investigate and apply APJ Tax regulations, analyzing business requirements and determining Tax implications to take account of.

- Good understanding of VAT to enable support of global projects impacting EU and wider EMEA requirements (For Eg. Domestic Reverse Charge/ Reverse Charge Mechanism)

- Ability to handle tax set up requirements on a SAP platform based on multiple interface system dependencies

- Chartered Accountant

- MBA (Finance)

- M.Com / Finance Graduate
