Product Line Manager - OSS/ BSS - Revenue Assurance or Fraud Management - Telecom Domain  Responsibilities :   - Works with respective market-facing stakeholders to capture market trends and customer requirements, and translates these into product strategy, and ultimately product roadmap items.   - Management of Technical Product Manager activities, performance, and utilization against functional objectives / KRAs etc Product Life cycle Management (PLM) in terms of thought leadership / version management / product marketing / sales enablement / presales support within assigned Solution area(s)  - Continuous update of and adherence to PLM processes to meet the mission stated above. Adoption and execution of best practices to repeatedly succeed against the identified department KRAs.  Focus on :   - Soliciting and gathering customer feedback / analyst reflections  - Market validation in terms of opportunity / current and futuristic needs / technology trends / competitor etc  - Thought leadership in terms blogs / paper presentations / participation in panels / forums  - Product SWOT analysis from Subex perspective and competition perspective  - Internal support of engineering by constructing and delivering timely Business cases and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) Act as a leader within the company  Key Result Areas (KRAs) :  - Revenue from current products and new products, Roadmap Mgmt, Sales Enablement, Product Evangelism, Quality Achievement, Accountability & Authority  - Accountability for Revenue from current products and new products  - Authority Decisions related to product release details, to include version numbering, features, priorities, retirements, and other product changes based on market and/or company strategic needs.   Decision Making :   - Take necessary decisions, in consultation with the stake holders to ensure that the mission objectives are met. Product release decisions should be incorporated within Business Cases, and approved by the VP-PLM.  Interfaces :   - Product Development, ACB, PQCoE, GDO, Support, marketing, presales, sales and MS  Competencies :   - Telecom BSS / OSS domain knowledge, key emphasis on assigned Product domain(s)   - Exposure to eTom business model of telecom operators  - Communication technologies (wire line and wireless) Software and data base technologies
