Role: Principal Consultant – Strategic Consulting / Business Advisory Services

REConnect is a start-up that has in a short period of time taken the leadership position in environmental markets in India (www.reconnectenergy.com). We are looking for outstanding individual with prior consulting experience and a passion for sustainability. The individual should have an entrepreneurial mind set and the ability and passion for delivering outstanding, game-changing solutions to clients.

The Principal Consultant will be required to lead consulting engagements, build client relationships and take our existing consulting practice to the next level of growth. The ideal candidates should have the mind-set and ability to thrive in an entrepeneriual setup, be able to execute and build at the same time and be willing to share the rewards (and pangs) of building something from ground up.

Position deliverables:

The role envisages the following activities:

1. End-to-end delivery responsibility for engagements:

- Monitoring the timely and cost-effective management of client projects (tracking deliverables, timelines, and progress against goals) and managing and coaching junior team members

- Developing impactful client recommendations and delivering them through world-class written and oral presentations

2. Building on relationships with potential and existing clients and be responsible for the business development in the assigned areas

3. Participating in internal initiatives relating to thought leadership, client service, or team development

About you:

- You must have a strong character and are looking to join a start-up in its early stages and share in the rewards of building an institution.

- You are a proactive and independent person who has a demonstrated passion as relates to sustainability.

- You are looking to lead projects and efforts on your own.

You must have:

- A Masters degree and 4-5 years of consulting experience in business strategy.

- An understanding of the sustainability, environmental and/or energy domain issues including emerging areas of environmental markets. While experience in this area is not a must, it is highly desirable.

- An ability to work ‘hands-on’ and multi-task in an energetic start-up environment

- Demonstrated ability to be an individual contributor as also work in teams.

- Led projects independently

- Excellent communication skills

- Proven business development skills

Location: New Delhi, India

Compensation:

- Linked to experience. Compensation package includes a base salary with the opportunity for a significant revenue share.
