Customer Analytics
Position Description
- Building risk and marketing models using customer and bureau data
- Perform necessary analysis, such as data quality assessment, recommendation of Generic Score which predicts customer's portfolio, Market share analysis, competitor analysis etc.
- Work extensively on various types of data like Credit, telecom and utility, commercial, demographic etc.
- Conduct complex statistical analysis under the supervision of a Senior Statistician
- Analysis across credit, fraud and insurance arenas
- Complex data assessment and integration from multiple platforms as required for analytical purposes
- Create detailed documentation outlining design and technical specifications of each solution
Position Requirement
- At least 2+ years of experience in BFSI
- Exposure of building logistic and linear regression models, knowledge of alternative methodologies preferred
- In-depth knowledge of the business problems in financial services. Knowledge of bureau data is a plus
- Very good knowledge of SAS. Good to have exposure of UNIX/WPS/R/S-Plus/SPSS, but not mandatory
- Masters in any quantitative discipline: Statistics (preferred)/Economics (preferred)/Math/Engineering/MBA etc.
- Apt with MS Office components (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skill - verbal, written and presentation skills. Good to have exposure of working with clients in USA
- Have possessed leadership skill at some level, not necessarily project/team management
- Ability to create and understand complex analytical solutions
- Ready to adept in dynamic environment to align individuals with organizations goal
- Works well with all other teams/departments
