The entrepreneurs & start-ups nominations are strictly chosen by the British Council   - The role Reports to Zonal Operations Head  - The State Head is a Senior professional who will lead sales and distribution operations across the state & build the large Direct sales force/channel comprising sales managers and agents   - This is a leadership position which takes full operational responsibility for all market-side functions of the direct sales business, recruiting and managing regional managers and senior field sales managers, setting up supply chain operations; training and leading the field sales team to create a large distribution network comprising hundreds of Business Managers and thousands of off-roll, village-level Business Associates in the state  Desired Skills and Experience :   The ideal State Operations Head candidate has :   - Strong knowledge of rural and/or direct sales environments. At least 5 years work experience within India in village-level or semi-rural geographies. Experience in TELECOM Industry strongly preferred  - Significant high-scale field sales management experience. 5+ years leading and coaching large on-roll and off-roll field teams.
