This seasoned professional needs to formulate a Performance & Rewards philosophy for the Organization in alignment with the organisations- strategy, HR Vision, & its goals. The role requires development, communication and implementation of compensation and benefit plans, programs and policies for STAR, based upon business needs and rewards strategy and guiding principles.   - H/she will serve as a consultant in solving compensation and benefits problems, and ensure that performance standards are adhered to in the area of Compensation and Benefits. Manage benefits programs across network and provide professional insights to support the rewards strategy; Develop benefits strategy and drive the benefits programs with consistent methodology.   Key Responsibilities:  Compensation & Benefits:  - Design and develop compensation policies   - Prepares the total rewards (compensation and benefits) budget for the network, including the regular monitoring, reporting and adjusting of the budget.  - Coordinates C&B processes like the salary planning, bonus planning, new benefits introduction, etc.   - Keep up to date in the practice of compensation and benefits and help ensure utilization of cost effective compensation and benefits practices to maximize the organization's growth and profitability  - Draw up Performance Management Process calendar as approved by management  - Play a leading role together with HR teams in major re-organizations (including mergers and   acquisitions and joint ventures) by providing advice and problem solving on matters that arise such as compensation and benefit integration  - Periodically audit Compensation and Benefits practices in place in conjunction plans to correct any problem areas  - Provide compensation related guidelines to Talent Acquisition teams (Hiring Grid etc.) and support in offer preparation (Compensation)   - Perform parity analysis to ensure internal equity is maintained.  Performance Management:  - Develop a Performance Management philosophy of the Organization in line with Org strategy, HR Vision & Goals, HR Strategy and seek approval from top management   - Create a Performance Management system in line with the philosophy and appropriate measures to implement the same  - Benchmark PMS process with market to latest trends & gaps in current system and make necessary changes to the same.   - Clearly communicate and cascade the philosophy to all line managers and employees  - Execute goal setting process, mid-year appraisal & end year appraisal process for all eligible employees  - Put in place a communication plan for completion of the entire PMS process  - Develop a training program on Performance Management Philosophy and System of the Company to create awareness & capability for appraisers/ appraises  - Draw up Performance Management Process calendar as approved by management  Merger & Acquisition:  - Will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to deploy shared resources for these activities.   - Identifies potential risks, costs and complications, while developing mitigation plans that ensure project goals are achieved.   - Provides oversight for the preparation and implementation of Day One and ongoing Integration Project plans, as well as serving in a lead integration role as required  - Creates development plans to increase knowledge and capability for mergers, acquisitions and integration within the New Business team, and across the enterprise HR function.  Qualification:  - Master's level HR Qualification from a Premier Institute preferred.  - A minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in C&B leadership capacity working with senior level managers  Knowledge And Skills:  - Evidence of having both created and administered a wide range of pay and benefit plans: base pay; variable pay; benefits; and integration of compensation & benefit plans/programs arising from merger & acquisition  - Hands-on experience with compensation & benefits employee data maintenance of an HRIS system  - Systematic understanding of total rewards, as well as other HR functions.  - Developed knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to employee compensation and benefits  - Evidence of having successfully program managed large, complex projects or programs, achieving satisfaction & timeline objectives Strong communication skills.  - Solid financial and business acumen.  - Demonstrated project management skills such as planning, execution and implementation.  - Expert knowledge of Excel  Personal Attributes:  - Affable yet assertive  - Confident and non-hierarchical thinker  - Adaptable  - Able to work under pressure  - Out-of-the-box thinker
