JOB PURPOSE:-

A seasoned professional with hands-on banking experience in areas such as Business Partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis, Costing for financial service, MI Reporting, Transitions Management, Variance Analysis, Change Management, Closing & Reporting, People Management and Stakeholder management. A Banking domain expert with Strong Negotiation and Influencing Skills required to Scope Onshore activities and lead transition teams to migrate roles/activities in accordance with the governance framework. This role would require certain amount of overseas travelling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :-

Finance Business Partnering with focus on scoping onshore activities, leading transitioning teams, improving processes and integrating the same into BAU.

Leading a team of senior professionals in GFS with strong commitment towards process improvement, driving efficiency and resolving core business issues.

Discuss with senior stakeholders on understanding the roles and activities performed in their respective geographies; convincingly showcasing the existing capabilities of the offshore/BAU teams.

Understand and Review various financial processes done by business finance teams, end to end experience on - Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting, Management reporting, Financial Analysis, Variance Analysis, Headcount reporting, Efficiency tracking, Cost Analysis, Accounting & Closing and other FP&A activities.

Excellent understanding of bank's businesses to support the scoping of the Onshore activities as per the framework, working in close coordination with Standard Reporting, and Planning & Control, Accounting Teams.

Understanding P&L, B&S and Risk metrics well to interpret various MI on performance of Businesses/ Functions and partner on important decisions.

Exceptional Stakeholder management and escalation handling for the teams.

KEY COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE :-

Strong Banking Domain Knowledge primarily on the Corporate and Institutional Banking.

Strong Understanding of banking products, Segments, Business and Cost drivers

Ability to handle Transitions per defined methodology and governance

Strong Influencing and Negotiation skills apt to have meaningful discussions with senior stakeholders

Experience of having led large teams including senior & experienced professionals.

Has experience in the field of Financial Planning & Analysis, Costing of service, Variance Analysis, MI Reporting, Closing & Reporting activities.

Ability to understand key business/cost drivers & the application of those to the relevant Performance management reporting processes.

Strong capability to understand financial statements and the drivers thereof in order to synthesize them into meaningful analysis as required.
