We are looking for high potential, energetic and motivated individuals to execute the strategic audit plan of Infrastructure Technology to ensure that technology risk affecting the business is adequately covered.
You will undertake risk assessments and perform or lead internal audit engagement to provide assurance to Group management on internal control environment, and to highlight forward looking indicators of potential risks within various areas in Group Technology.
You will provide assurance as needed to senior managers of the Group that the processes and controls by means of which the Banks technology infrastructure is managed are appropriate to the task and functioning effectively.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform, support or lead where directed, the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines.
- Facilitate and implement/ deliver the agreed audit plan; identify the key audit issues arising and track and follow-up on audit issues till closure.
- Identify and escalate emerging risks or trends through on-going surveillance and monitoring of the portfolio assigned.
- Perform continual risk assessment on the portfolio assigned and develop audit plan in response to the risks identified.
- Act as liaison with Management to ensure full understanding of strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant Functional Team members.
- Provide non-assurance services to business units where required, through participation on advisory engagements / special projects within the Group.
- Share knowledge, skills and experience with team members to guide and assist in their development.
Qualification and Skills:
- Experienced technology infrastructure auditor, information security or technology risk manager or IT professional with in-depth understanding of the banking business and technology.
- Exposure to data centre, networks, operating systems, web, messaging and security systems would be a plus.
- Professional certification like CISA, CISSP, CISM accreditation or similar is desirable
- Strong communication skills with an ability to influence.
- Up to date with developments/ market trends within their area of expertise.
- Ability to work with minimal direction and also work well in a team environment.
- Effective written and presentation skills
- Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to the Group's core values.
- Ability to commit up to 30% business travel time.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in banking industry
