JOB PURPOSE  - Responsible for Managing Stress Portfolio for the firm and Leading a team for resolution of distress and special situation assets which involves business analysis, study of Company's potential & industry risk & prospects, business and financial restructuring, change of management, induction of strategic investor, sale of assets and investments, initiating legal actions in different forums like CDR, DRT, BIFR and under provisions of Securitization Act, 2002 and New Companies Act.  - Management of distress assets involving interaction with top management of the restructured company, performance monitoring & bench-marking, adherence of terms of restructuring.  Will be responsible to manage team of 6 - 8 persons and should use resources of PFG and Risk departments for discharging his responsibilities in close co-ordination with respective heads.  PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES  Accountabilities  Achieve the business targets of the company in terms of reduction and recovery of NPAs Reduction in GNPA  Principal Recovery targets Profit (write-back) targetsTarget timelines vs Actual timelines for resolution of cases  - Identification of problem through active engagement with PFG & client.  - Develop strategy for resolution of stress cases and guide the team for implementation of the same  - Develop processes based on resolution approach, make improvements/modifications from time to time  - Evolve value proposition for client and to improve L&T Infra Finance position  - Arrive at workable solution, negotiations with the client and other external and internal parties  - Take internal approval from all, final negotiations with the client, deal closure  - Lead the team for evaluation of all stress cases assigned by MC  - Effective implementation of the solution arrived for stress cases  - Interact with Concessioning Authority/Govt Agency,Implement project execution controls, Monetization of completed assets  - Oversee the active management of stress accounts and recovery proceedings  - Based on learning's from recovery of stress cases, provide appropriate feedback to PFG/Risk/other business groups for improvement of process  - Lead team in Special Situation Group  Building a right team  - Recruit the right talent  - Develop team members through structured training and on the job coaching  - Establish performance expectations and regularly review individual performance  - Keep team motivated and identify process improvements requirements  - Assist in recruitment as per Budget  - Training Coverage and Depth  - Sectoral Training initiatives  - Employee Engagement  DIMENSIONS  - Manage portfolio allocated by Management Committee - around [2-3] for senior manager [4-6] assignments for Team Manager annually with debt size of [500 ] crores for senior manager and [1500] crores for Team Manager  - PBT level : Profit / Loss avoided impact of Rs. [15 crores for senior manager & [50] crores for Team Manager p.a.  Other Dimensions  - Would lead a team of 2 people for senior manager & 4-6 people for Team Manager  - Networking - banking sector; investment banks & intermediaries, brokers, agents, ARC's besides Recovery Agent, legal consultants and SARFAESI / DRT Forums  - Responsible to ensure process compliance, security creation, documentation by the team members (excluding legacy), resolution / response to audit observations  SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE  Educational Qualifications  - CA/MBA/CFA/Law Post graduate  - BCOM/Engineer  Functional Skills  - Comprehensive and Specialized knowledge of restructuring transaction and relevant acts, restructuring methods & processes; and credit assessment skills, Legal & Contracting aspects understanding of restructuring methods & processes; and credit assessment skills  - Deep understanding of Infrastructure & Non Infrastructure Sectors & business environment in India  - Should have related experience in resolution and have lead a team of 2 People (for Senior Manager ) 6-8 People (For Team Manager), ability to identify, recruit, develop and motivate a high performance team  - Should be capable to coming out with logical solution and should have effective communication and convincing skills  - Should be capable of doing - out of box- thinking to arrive at solutions  - Relationship management capabilities and Structuring and deal negotiation capabilities with clients  Relevant and total years of Experience  - 5 + Years for Senior Manager and 10 to 12 years for Team Manager with direct experience of leading a team in handling stress asset portfolio
