Our client is an international fashion brand retailed nationwide.  POSITION TITLE: Senior Manager Supply Chain   BASIC FUNCTION:   ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:   The incumbent will report to Director - Operations & Supply Chain of the company   POSITION SUMMARY & KEY OBJECTIVES   Supervise all Warehouse and Outbound Shipping operations within their area, i.e. responsible for executing and maintaining efficient and effective DC operations and outbound processes, organization, infrastructure and systems. Manages physical flow of goods from receipt to delivery and ensures adherence to agreed logistics service levels within budget. In addition, manages operational relationships with external service providers in close alignment with Regional Supply Chain Management.   PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Plan, manage and align operational activities of all DC locations within the area in line with Regional Supply Chain Management direction.   - Structuring the entire supply chain team to cope up with the existing volumes as well as ramp up for future requirements.   - Coordinate with product, sourcing and sales team for managing smooth flow of merchandise through the system. To also act as the Single point contact for all matters related to SCM.   - Build a team that will be able to deliver flawless execution in view of the increased throughput. Define Goals and objectives for each individual and set benchmark that can be compared to the best in the industry.   - Vendor analysis, selection, coordination and management for all 3PL functions as well as management of CHA and such other intermediaries that are part of the function.   - Build internal checks and balances to ensure accuracy of deliveries, and move towards executing orders with minimum errors.   - Keep stock control and warehouse management systems up to date.   - Deliver on budgets on all aspects - (a) Quantitative (throughput) (b) Qualitative (KPIs) and (c) Financial (total cost of warehousing and distribution).   KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:   - People management skills   - Analytical   - Good communication skills   - Good negotiation skills   - Proficient in MS Excel   - Should be proficient in SAP   QUALIFICATIONS:   - University Degree or equivalent   - Relevant experience in warehouse operations   SPECIALIZED SKILLS:   - Proven expertise in Distribution Strategy and Warehouse and Logistics Management in Apparel and Footwear   - Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)   SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Manages the team of Warehouse Managers and Logistics Managers   ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS   Internal:   - Demand Planning   - Supply Planning/Purchasing   - Global/Regional Customs   - Regional Supply Chain Managements   - Regional Logistics   Sourcing External:
