Sr Manager - R&D - Industrial Paints

Paints Major is looking for a Sr. Manager R & D – Industrial Paints for Kolkata location.

Candidates having sound experience in R & D of Industrial Paints Segment (Epoxy Coatings, Heat resistant / Corrosion preventive Coatings, Polyurethanes) need only apply. Bengali speaking candidates / candidates having working knowledge of Bengali would be given advantage.

Position : Sr. Manager

Business Division : Protective Coatings

Location : Kolkata (Howrah)

Work experience : 8-10 years minimum

Qualification : MBA with BSc / MSc Chemistry / Paint Technologist B.E / B.Tech (Chemical)

Age : 32-40 years

Job Profile:

- Leading the team for New Product Development & analyze the performance of the product as per customer requirement in Industrial coating

- Development of customer specific for Product & its Formulation. The job involves planning, development & scale up of product.

- Maintenance of quality of existing product, Cost reduction without impacting quality.

- Value Engineering of existing products as per customer needs and market demand.

- Visit and providing Technical Support to the existing and potential customers.

- Initiate actions leading to develop the New Technology

- To provide required technological solution in to create the new business area.

- Apart from the development, responsible for framing up manufacturing procedures and the necessary QC & QA Procedures for the bulk production & ISO Activity for R&D.

Reporting : Head R & D

Personality Traits - Proactive leader and planner with expertise in strategic planning, execution having high achievement orientation, Strong Analytical capability, good inter-personal relationships & business acumen.
