Senior Manager - Domain Expert - Retail Strategic Sourcing ( Only from Consulting Firms)  Retail Process & Excellence | Bangalore, India  The Retail Process and Excellence team's mandate is to integrate & mature the Retail functions across all Categories with standardized processes and to promote compliance & operational synergy by cross functional program management.  We are looking for a Senior Manager to fulfill the role of Domain Expert - Retail Strategic Sourcing. This person will be hosted out of the retail business unit and is expected to design, deploy and own the processes, framework and strategy for partner/ vendor management & procurement. This person will be conversant with industry best practices in partner and vendor management in the Retail and e-commerce space.  Roles & Responsibilities  As a Domain Expert you will be expected to drive process change in this area within the organization and be at the heart of a retail change management initiative.   In this role you will:  - Serve as process domain and subject matter expert  - Map, evolve and mature processes and lay the road map for a scalable future  - Chart-out flows which include Physical, Information and Order flows  - Establish Frameworks for delivery and execution  - Implement industry best practices and drive compliance across the organization  - Align with key stakeholders in Retail, Product, Supply Chain etc  - Support related deployments and roll-outs  - Provide tactical level support and hand holding to the various teams as required  - Frame documentation and training guides for all processes  In this role, you will be expected to lend your domain expertise in the following areas:  - Selection and acquisition of world class suppliers and partners for the company  - Certifying and validating these suppliers & partners to ensure that they maintain high standards  - Partner in developing and running Quantitative and Qualitative analysis  - Negotiating and establishing contracts & setting expectations with the supplier on key terms  - Managing contracts, policies, Terms & conditions, Terms of Trade etc  - Negotiating on supplier/partner trade spend  - Monitoring and managing supplier /partner information  - Preparing and analysing vendor/partner performance through metrics and dashboards  - Monitoring of vendor related product quality  - Processing/Review of requisitions & Approval of requisitions  - Pricing & Quoting procedure including solicitation and tracking of vendor quotes  - Creation/Distribution of purchase orders followed by order chasing and inquiries  - Interlocking of suppliers on shipment schedules  - Research/Resolve exceptions on receipts  - Vendor/Partner Payments  Skills & Qualifications  Requirements:-  - 10+ yrs. experience in procurement/ buying functions in Retail/ CPG industries OR prior consulting experience  - Graduate degree in engineering, preferably an MBA from a premier B School  - Process mapping/ operating model creation experience, familiarity with MS Visio  - Advanced MS Excel - ability to correlate data, data analysis, metrics, pivots etc.
