Senior Manager - Plant Personnel

Job Responsibilities :

- Exposure to IR Activities & Green field project Exp preferred

- Extensively participate in negotiations, mediations, influencing and communication processes in the unit.

- Develop insight into people and people groups that goes beyond the obvious.

- Build strong network and support groups with employees across all levels and processes data thrown up by the 'operational' resource on attitudes and climates, and develop innovative alternatives and solutions for the same.

- He is the guardian of the work atmosphere and climate of the work-group and sets in motion activities and initiatives that positively influence the work culture and atmosphere of the group.

- Responsible for developing and communicating staff workman and managerial policies related to terms and conditions of service, employee welfare etc., designing and implementing review mechanisms to control and reduce system development costs, and monitor the budgets revenues, overheads of the function.

- Possess knowledge of and can handle queries related to tax laws, reward policy, its basis and applicability across all levels.

- He is extensively involved in the reward and remuneration process, uses various tools and processes of compensation management, maintains service levels and quality of the entire process and seeks continuous improvement in increasing the efficiency of the process.

- Possess a detailed understanding of the manpower plan and the requirements (skill sets, competencies, and numbers) and is clued into the characteristics and nature of the workgroup for which he is responsible.

- Extensively involved in coordinating, conducting, administering and monitoring effectiveness of the performance management, training and recruitment systems.

- Responsible for building an effective network and liaison with key external players like government authorities, political influencers, industry associations etc.

Education Qualification

- Grad (any stream) + MBA (full time) pref from XLRI/TISS/SIBM batches of 1998/9/2000

OR

- Grad (any stream) + MBA (full time) from any other institute + atleast 10 years of relevant industry experience
