Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

Engagement Management:

1. Lead engagement planning and budgeting;

2. mobilize and manage engagement teams;

3. define deliverable structure and content;

4. facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client;

5. direct on-time, quality delivery of work products;

6. manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.

Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
Business Development:

1. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients;

2. organize and lead pursuit teams;

3. participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process;

4. contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies

Practice Development & Eminence:

1. Develop practical solutions and methodologies;

2. develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents;

3. participate in public speaking events;

4. get published in industry periodicals

People Development:

1. Perform role of counselor and coach;

2. provide input and guidance into the staffing process;

3. actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities;

4. provide leadership and support for delivery teams.

Consulting:

1. Business Process Review - assess the current performance of the finance function and identify areas of improvements in efficiency and effectiveness

2. Vision and Strategy for Finance - assist the finance function in defining a clear set of value propositions for finance roles and assist in the executing of its future Finance strategy

3. Process Design - standardize and simplify processes to enable cost effective operations with the best use of technology

4. Shared services - perform feasibility study on the scope of centralization and develop the business case to support the implementation. Assist the client in designing and building their own captive shared service centers or selecting and managing outsourcing providers

5. Fast Close and Reporting - assess the current month-end closing and reporting process, identify areas of improvements and make recommendations to enable finance to close its books and report internally and externally faster

6. Performance / KPI Management - assist finance to define an effective set of performance measures and KPIs which will focus the business on the delivery of strategy and business plans

7. Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting – standardize and improve planning processes to create alignment and synergies, develop the vision for the end-state planning cycle with a clearly articulated process and system improvement roadmap including key milestones, expected benefits and impact of technology

Qualification

A minimum of 8 years consulting and/or industry experience is required.

A Master’s Degree is required.

Ability to travel 100% required.

In addition, successful Senior Managers will also have the following preferred skills:

Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

Willingness to mentor junior staff.
