Sr Manager - Big Data Analytics - BFSI

Our client is a global consulting firm with a specific focus on Banking and Financial services clients - largely banks. They have established themselves as the leading player in the consulting world providing cutting edge services in the Analytics domain to their clients across corporate banking, investment banking, consumer banking, insurance etcetera.

As part of their expansion plans, they are looking to hire a Senior Manager-Big Data Analytics as part of their Data Scientist program in Bangalore.

Reporting in to the Practice Leader, you will:

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Big Data Analytics

- Work on Proofs of concepts in Big Data across various industry domains

- Foresee business problems and respond with solutions from an Analytics standpoint

- Deliver complex data manipulation and analytics, while working with business functions to identify and to respond to complex technical and business problems

- Use Big Data fabric technologies to acquire, transform, and provision complex findings using visualization tools

- Maintain and measure high standard of quality and adhere to best coding practices

As the successful applicant, you will:

- Hold a Masters degree in Statistics/Economics/Computer Sciences Engineering from a reputed institute

- Have 7+ Years of relevant experience in Analytics

- Have strong exposure to Big Data tools and frameworks like Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Python, MangoDb etcetera

- Be exposed to working on PoCs across several domains

- Possess sophisticated understanding of statistical analysis, experience with statistical and predictive modeling analysis tools such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, Stata etcetera

- Demonstrate evolution from technical coding in Java etcetera to strong Analytics roles in your career path
