Sr Financial Analyst - eCommerce/Retail/FMCG/Mfg

Senior Financial Analyst

Experience : 5- 10 Yrs

Location : Bangalore

- Provide controllership and analytical support to rapidly growing wholesale business in India

- Responsibilities include setting up finance processes for wholesale; building business plans; monitoring progress on projects; driving financial processes to ensure greater visibility and controls; weekly and monthly finance and business reporting.

- Responsibilities would also include ad hoc analysis such as evaluating process and cost efficiencies.

- Evaluation of business and capital budget proposals

- Financial and analytical support to the leadership team in effective running of business.

Basic Qualifications:

- 7+ years of related experience in finance, accounting or other related analytical experience

- MBA

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

- Expertise with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

- Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment

- Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items; strong analytical skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail

- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads; understanding of finance issues in an operational environment of rapid growth.

- Fluency in standard software including Excel, Access, Cognos, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

- Designing financial reports in Excel/Cognos/Access

- Solid problem solving and root cause analysis experience

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Strong analytical and business sense

- Ability to simplify financial processes and reports
