Sr Business Analyst/Project Manager - BFSI

Our client is looking for an exceptional Senior Business Analyst to join the IT/Development team;

This group is responsible for developing new infrastructure for the firm's high-volume, straight-through processing environment, and works with US and India-based teams to specify, develop and implement new applications.

Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Business Analyst will be working on a mix of financial and non-financial projects, as well as new business ventures, as the Firm's needs dictate;

The role requires collaborating with the engineering teams and clients to specify and deliver customization requests, managing the production;

Key Skills

The ideal candidate should have 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in a related role and an excellent academic record.

The successful candidate must possess demonstrable project management experience and have a history of delivering high-quality work to senior stakeholders.

Exceptional candidates who have demonstrated success in defining the scope of a client engagement resulting in statements of work, or facilitating a smooth client on-boarding and implementation process are desired.

The candidate should be passionate about working in a client-facing role, have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be exceptionally organized and methodical.

Attending university or having international work experience, particularly in western environments, is a definite plus.

The ability to multitask and manage multiple clients simultaneously is preferred, but a superior level of personal maturity and a collaborative, optimistic attitude is mandatory.

The candidate should be experienced in working with software vendor(s) in financial services, in support of middle and back office trade life-cycle, and/or interacting with hedge funds and other asset managers.
