Overview of Responsibilities

The Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) analyst position will entail working to define and remodel business processes. The individual will work with the BPR Lead to work on building process efficiencies both within business units and across TAS.

- Study and Review existing work processes and organization structure at TAS

- Analyze business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows

- Identify modifications to the automated processes based on the overview of the function/business unit knowledge gained

- Provide solutions in developing and integrating process and information models between processes to eliminate information, process and redundancies

- Work on automation of process or activities handled by various teams. Help in creating processes that can be replicated across teams

- Assist in implementing new processes and organizational changes within business units across TAS

- Establish a measurement system for tracking customer comebacks and Internal Errors. Monitor the same effectively to reduce comebacks

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce non value added activities

- Complete ownership of process compliance to quality standards (ISO, SOX etc)

- Track the working process and evaluate its effectiveness

- Use business, workflow and organizational modeling software tools

- Identify opportunities to track errors for each process related activity

- Drive best practice/idea sharing, and train team on various quality tools

Overview of Skill set

- Hands-on experience in process mapping of core business processes and data management

- Good research skills along with working knowledge of certain analytical tools

- Analytical ability in order to understand business needs and workflow across TAS business units

- Sound business judgment and ability to apply business context

- Excellent writing and reporting skills in order to transform the conversations and the current working procedures into a documented business process

- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Educational Qualifications & Preferred Experience

- Education: BCom/BSc/BTech and/or Masters Degree with specialization in Business/ Project Management/ Operations Management/ Statistics and related fields

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of business/industry work experience with at least 2 - 3 years of in process design/process engineering role

- Six sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certified - proficient in Six Sigma and other quality statistical / analytical tools and reporting

- Implementation of Six Sigma projects previously will be an advantage

- Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) would be preferred
