The Role
We are looking for a Senior Market Research Analyst to actively participate and lead the delivery team of this market research and Analysis Company. As a Senior Market Research Analyst you will be heading the solution delivery as well as a team of 2-4 analysts while providing insight, guidance and overview, and will be responsible for the quality of the deliverables and client presentations.
Projects typically deal with market sizing and segmentation, industry analysis, competitive analysis, invest opportunities analysis, product and concept testing, customer satisfaction and loyalty, advertising testing and effectiveness and knowledge management. Qualitative and Quantitative research with a boundary of limited primary data collection and largely secondary data collection based on either social media or search engines.
Apart from the projects, you will also be responsible for pre-sales activities including scoping excercise, solution building, approach and effort definition and so on.
This role would be ideal for candidates who are seeking to increase managerial and consulting skills in the market research and analysis industry with a special focus in the fast growing domain of education, tourism, Media and Retail. Aptitude for strategic thinking, research and an attention to detail are essential.

Key responsibilities include:
Design and delivery of multiple research lines, bespoke research projects
Questionnaire design/preparation
Participate in pre-sales activities including solution building, demonstration and presentation
Working with customers to understand complex business objectives
Selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques and guide the team accordingly
Designing qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle
Managing delivery team to ensure timely results
Editorial review of all external (customer-facing) documents for content, style and format
Report project status weekly to internal and external stakeholders
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience
Minimum 6 years of previous relevant experience in market research, market analysis and reporting
Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies
Expert level knowledge on market research and analysis techniques
Key Technical skills
Advanced MS Office skills
Expert level knowledge on MS Excel- VB Macros and scripting, VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLES, filters and formatting, PowerPoint and SPSS / SAS
Market research techniques (Any 4) - SWOT, PEST, Financial modeling, Value Chain Analysis, Spider Chart, QFD, Market Maps
Analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis- including multivariate and conjoint analysis
Advanced statistical analysis - Conjoint analysis, Empathic design, Prototype/beta testing and Quality Function Deployment (QFD)
Previous programming experience using VBA would be highly desirable
