Specialist Scorecard Modeling

Captive Financial Research Company with a global name for Ratings and Valuations require for captive center Chennai, Score card modelers preferred from BFSI domain or strong predictive modelers on SAS, for in house analytics team which gives financial solutions in terms of analytical tools, products or models to clients for the Financial Areas.

JOB Role:

Specialist Role reporting to Manager and working as an individual contributor.

- Generate Analytical Insights and Predictive Solutions to enable better decision making for various industries.

- Deliver various types of analytical solutions under limited direction and in sparse data conditions.

- Provide consultancy to clients on the usage of analytic solutions to achieve business goals.

- Help and Guide Technology and Systems Teams to implement analytical solutions and models integrating data from diverse sources.

- Adherence to Internal or Customer Specified Quality and Timeliness Standards

Desirable Skills:

- Prior Experience in Retail Lending /Banking or related domains is mandatory.

- Proficiency in analytical tools like SAS and SPSS is mandatory.

- Should have SIGNIFICANT hands on experience in scorecard development and monitoring.

- Hands on experience in generating structured insights from big data - collected from different sources and formats

Special Mention:

- Post Graduate in Quantitative Disciplines would be preferred. M.Sc/ MBA/ MA (Statistics, Economics, Financial Economics, Maths, Applied Maths, Finance, Business Analytics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics and etc.)

- Short to Medium duration Client Site Visit would be required.

- Sound knowledge of applied statistics/econometrics and data mining is a prerequisite.
