About our Client - Our client is a global retail leader recognized among the most valuable brands world over in their domain of business. They have aggressive growth plans for India which will be driven by retail initiatives besides traditional business and want to become market leaders within the portfolio they cater to. They are looking for a Store Construction Specialist to engage consumers at a store level by conveying brand values.

Job Description :

Brand Values:

- Clearly understand Company brand values and design culture and how it translates into retail environments.

- Retail Program development:

- Seek opportunities to enhance and evolve Company Retail programs. Work closely with Geography/Global design to evolve our Company Shop programs.

- Explore new ways to create consumer excitement, through floor layouts, impactful initiative zones, and dynamic window programs.Study, research and network with industry designers, and maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in regards to design, trends, production techniques, new technologies; Gain in-depth knowledge of quality materials for retail applications.

- Efficient in Project Management:

- Miniscule focus on Scope, Time and Budget. Proficient in entire fit out process right from feasibility assessment to project handover.

- Liaison for the Store Development function within Company and with its Partners:

- Effectively communicate across different functions within Company and its Retailers

- Assist Real Estate team through site reviews:

- Assess feasibility, Developing drawings and recommend changes to ensure compliance to Company construction imperatives. Review LOI's and set expectations for effective negotiation.

- Monitoring build and fit out through work orders and pert charts. Process RFP's and payment settlements, conflict resolution, project updates and punch list creation, project completion handoff.

- Coordinate will all stake holders involved:

- Retailers / Landlords / Mall Managers, Architects, Vendor and Govt. agencies

- Knowledge of Build to Suit projects:

- Construction Management from ground up, MEP, Air Conditioning Systems, Construction and Energy Codes, Fire and Safety norms, Govt. sanctions and certifications

- Knowledge of Sustainability and Green Building:

- Energy efficiency / LEED certification prerequisites.

The Successful Candidate:

- The role requires knowledge and experience in own discipline and someone who is still open to acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills with and across other functions.

- The incumbent must have the ability to foster an environment of accessibility and information sharing besides being proactive and solving a range of straightforward problem.

- Someone who challenges convention with a creative bent of mind is ideal.

- At least 5+ years of relevant work experience alongside a B.Arch/ Design Sense is mandatory.
