The Role - Solution Architect
- The responsibility is one of Presales for the ERP solution
- This person will lead the pre-sales process from a functional perspective.
- Gather business requirements from prospects, respond to RFI and RFP
- Prepare solution design / architecture and proposal highlighting business benefits
- Client facing skills - communication (both written and verbal) should be outstanding
- Work with Services organization to draw up the initial project costing for implementation, Customization and roll out services
- Will carry a sales quota
Candidate Profile:
- At least one full life cycle ERP / Supply Chain Management implementation experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Should have a strong understanding of Retail business practices, processes and improvement areas. (Preferably International Retail business exposure)
- Should have worked in Retail or Distribution industry for at least 3 to 5 years or should have worked with leading retail companies on projects such as Software Package selection and Implementation (Merchandising Systems, POS etc.), or worked with business users ( Operations, Merchandisers, Retail Store users) and created Job instructions/ functional requirements
- Exposure to BI and analytics is valuable,
- Capable of presenting and communicating business benefits to senior members of customer companies.
- Should have a minimum of bachelor’s degree
- Proven ability to listen to prospects and design solutions that can deliver business benefits
- Experience in Solution Architect (Presales Consulting) preferred
