Our leading client is looking for Software procurement role in sourcing & vendor management team.
Roles & Responsibility:
Lead commercial and sourcing activities for Application Software, with specific emphasis on software negotiations
Develop, negotiate, execute and manage assigned contracts for Software and Maintenance services
Develop, issue and manage competitive RFP's, in cooperation with key stakeholders
Lead cross functional teams (end users, legal, IT demand management, etc.) with regards to assigned supplier negotiations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with primary stakeholders- (IT, Legal, Tax, Demand Mgmt, AP, etc.)
Manage assigned Supplier Relationships and act as a single point of contact for negotiations and escalations
Required Skills :
5+ years of contract management and /or strategic sourcing experience
Demonstrated understanding of software, hardware and services
Software Sourcing subject matter experience
Must have strong contract negotiation and influencing skills: both in-person and in writing
Experience or good understanding of electronic sourcing tools (SAP, PeopleSoft, Ariba, etc.)
Must be fluent in English (verbal and writing); Knowledge of German a plus
