Position : Assistant Manager (Total Rewards)

Reports to : AVP (Total Rewards)

Purpose : Lead the total rewards (compensation & benefits), performance management, talent development for Sodexo India.

Main Assignments :

Compensation Duties :

- Management of day-to-day compensation administration; interpret plan provisions and requirements; resolve administration/policy issues and questions; and coordinate activities with vendors / internal business partners

- Assist with overall development, implementation and maintenance of base pay and incentive pay

- Influence the strategic direction of the Company related to compensation programs and processes

- Facilitate decision making by senior management regarding Human Resources strategy and compensation programs

- Ensuring incorporation and global linking of compensation "best practice" policies and procedures

- Remaining current on key events, practices and emerging trends in compensation

- Acting as an internal consultant to develop principles and guide Company leadership in decisions pertaining to compensation and Human Capital issues

Benefits Duties :

- Management of day-to-day benefit administration; interpret plan provisions and requirements; resolve administration/policy issues and questions; and coordinate activities with vendors / internal business partners

- Analyzes benefit program trends; identifies, designs and proposes best practices and competitive benefit programs to support organizational strategies and associate needs.

- Analyzes cost and utilization data and recommend changes to achieve cost containment goals.

- Manages timely accurate enrollment of new hires, qualifying events, terms and data transmission to 3rd parties.

- Leads all aspects of the annual open enrollment process, including preparing associate communication materials. Works with internal and external resources to identify optimal media, creating specific, compelling and accurate associate plan materials.

- Advises HR Business Partners and Managers on interpretation of plan provisions. Serves as liaison with internal clients and external vendors on benefit topics or associate issues.

- Oversees the amendment of plan documents, summary plan descriptions, vendor contracts and other documents related to plan offerings.

- Reviews cost, quality and other indicators measuring and improving vendor performance and participant satisfaction.

- Periodically performs or oversees quality and administrative audits of plans.

- Partners with HR Technology and Payroll to ensure accuracy of associate data and functionality of electronic data interfaces with vendors.

- Manages special projects as appropriate to the purview of the role.

- Facilitates training and support on benefit plan offerings.

- Influencing the strategic direction of the Company related to benefit programs and processes

- Facilitate decision making by senior management regarding Human Resources strategy and benefit programs

- Remaining current on key events, practices and emerging trends in benefits

- Acting as an internal consultant to develop principles and guide Company leadership in decisions pertaining to benefits and Human Capital issues

Person Specifications :

- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Total Rewards

- Post-Graduation Certification/Degree/Diploma in HR from a premier institute

Competencies :

- Demonstrated knowledge of compensation and benefits process and strategy;

- In-depth understanding of domestic benefit plans and laws;

- Proven ability to identify and independently solve complex problems;

- Exceptional ability in written and oral communications;

- Highly efficient in MS Office tools like - WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, ACCESS.

- Experience successfully leading complex processes with multiple steps and participants;

- Ability to identify and execute process improvements; and

- Team player and collaborative.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
