Very much as a right-intentioned financial investor we typically look at associating with clients over an extended time period to help them in the organization development process.   Our philosophy to build organization capital focuses on developing different types of assets that any organization consciously or unconsciously has to manage on a daily basis:  1. Commercial assets: brand, positioning, technology, operations, systems and processes, marketability of the idea, potential to attract outside funding – the so-called hardware of any organization.  2. Organizational assets: financial management practices, governance, value systems, organizational structure, people and how they engage with the organization and among themselves  3. Last-mile assets: include the ability to engage with a community, build linkages with local government officials, households, vendors etc. This is really the part where a small mistake of any kind (financial, relational, operational) may mean losing credibility to the stakeholders that really matter  Today there is disproportionate emphasis on cultivating commercial assets. However, we feel that for an organization that is really serious about impact, the process needs to upside-down. It is the last-mile that shapes what can be done today. A lot of planning, strategy, and for that matter, even good intentions ignore this ground reality leading eventually to frustration. We believe that words such as growth and innovation have to be finally interpreted in the context of this last-mile. And that means that to make fruitful decisions it is required to get into lot of intricate details and do things sequentially and may be slowly, but in a consistent and disciplined way. Thus the investment value we really bring in is making the organization act in a certain way and staying the course instead of over-reacting to external or internal disturbances, getting carried away by expectations of investors, consultants or for that matter even us.  We are looking for individuals who are keen to work in the development sector. An entrepreneurial mindset, readiness to work in an unstructured environment matched with creative thinking and seamless implementation will be needed. We, being a young company ourselves are looking for self-driven individuals who are ready to work with us in building the company and growing with it.  Roles and responsibilities:  - As an integral part of the team, the candidate will be working with the clients on strategic engagements  - The role would include taking ownership of the engagements, participating and leading in client meetings, coming up with solutions to business problems, community engagement models, preparing and executing presentations, financial modeling, research and analysis  - The role would also working and leading the clients’ team in implementing different modules of the project to achieve objectives  - The candidate will be expected to contribute to business and organization development efforts  - The role will include frequent travels even to remote location  Requirements:   - A self driven individual with passion for working in development sector   - He/she must be able to deal with fair amount of ambiguity in structuring and solving complex, unfamiliar problems   - Experience in undertaking and executing independent project modules   - Understanding of financial statements, economics and concepts of valuation  - Well Conversant in power point presentations and use of excel   - Strong communication and interpersonal skills   - Very good analytical skills  Application process   1.
