Company Profile  Snow Leopard is a ~5 year old investment firm based out of Pune, India that focuses on early stage investments (seed, pre-series A, Series A, Series B).   Position Overview  Snow Leopard is looking to hire an individual for the role of, Investment Analyst, to help manage current companies in the portfolio, for general analytical work both from a portfolio company and market research perspective and analysis of potential new private/public company investments  Duties & Responsibilities  Portfolio Companies  Meet with portfolio companies on a consistent basis to ensure progress  Ensure compliance and governance followed at companies  Help to manage a portfolio of businesses and implement a set of highly scalable processes for monitoring  Assist with monitoring of portfolio companies  Analyze monthly portfolio company financial statements  Prepare quarterly valuations using various valuation methodologies including discounted cash flow, comparable public company trading multiples and precedent M&A transaction multiples  New Investments:   Help to identify new candidates for investment  Manage flow of inbound investment candidates along with General Partner  Co-facilitate due diligence processes  - Co-execute due diligence process for both the company and the industry  - Ability to ask pertinent questions  - Question entrepreneur assumptions  Draft investment committee memorandums, create analytical models, capitalization table analyses, all as part of the investment approval process  General -   Perform financial analyses which may include the following with a high degree of speed and precision  - Discounted cash flow  - Public comparables  - Acquisition comparables   - Pro forma combination analyses  - Cap table analytics  - Portfolio analytics  Build three-statement full-blown financial models for portfolio company analytics including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement  Analyze performance of portfolio companies on an ongoing basis and highlight lagging areas or areas where the firm can potentially add value  Analyze the impact of a proposed combination, divestiture, acquisition on earnings, credit profile and value  Prepare presentation and marketing materials for the fund, investment committee memorandums and management and board of directors presentations, LP presentations  Other:  Looking for highly motivated, highly analytically rigorous, self-starting, highly proactive individuals looking to build a leading investment firm   Looking for highly transparent, open individuals where honesty and hard work are placed as the utmost highest priorities  Willingness to work overtime, late, weekends, while on vacation  Education and Experience:  Top 10% ranking throughout academic career at top-tier schools in India or abroad with transcript records available   At least 2-3 years of work experience from a top-tier investment firm, investment banking firm or within a venture investing arm or principal investing arm of a leading corporate, multi-national corporation with relevant experience in M&A, investments, private equity, early stage   History of making direct investments in companies where you, along with a team, put together the thesis of the investment - can you identify why you made the investment-   Foreign work experience in the USA or Europe for at least 2 - 3 years if possible  Stellar track record before finance in electrical engineering or computer science helpful  A strong understanding of the Indian ecosystem  Previous consumer brand building experience  Knowledge and Skills  Strong industry knowledge, analytical skills, interpersonal people skills, valuation skills  Experience in deal evaluation  Strong research capabilities  Thorough analytical abilities  Extremely strong grasp of written and spoken English, both grammatically and colloquially  Extremely hard working, proactive individual looking to build a long-term career with an investment firm  Interests outside of work should place value on a healthy lifestyle  High degree of intellectual curiosity  Team player with ability to work in small groups  Strong ability to format and model in excel with extremely fast grasp of shortcut key combinations  Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint  Experience working with both Apple and Windows operating systems  Understanding of how to speak on the phone, write an email, go to dinner, have a conversation, from a global perspective  Understanding of social media and its implications  Understanding of confidentiality and its implications  Other:  Live in Pune or be prepared to move to Pune  Performance linked incentive structure  You should be fairly fast at typing on a computer and smartphone  Record of high achievement, superior maturity, integrity  Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative analysis  Superior attention to detail, high energy, positive attitude  Ability to break down highly complex problems into basic building blocks  Be prepared to work very hard in a high stress environment -
