Product and Regulatory compliance officer  Reporting to Associate Director.   The level could be Manager / Sr. Manager.  Job Requirement :   - The incumbent will bridge legal, compliance and business worlds as s/he partners with the business and technical teams and other legal colleagues to introduce new products on marketplaces, business models, compliance approaches and meet business needs.   - Supports the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Company's legal and regulatory compliance, privacy and data governance programs.   - Understand and implement best practices across all aspects of marketplaces products, privacy and data protection laws and regulations.  - Work closely with internal litigation, law enforcement and data analytics team w.r.t. law enforcement requests and on litigation related issues.  Critical Soft Skills :  - Incumbent must be result driven and an enthusiastic self-starter possessing good leadership, collaboration and communication skills.  - Possess strong analytical and problem-resolution skills with the ability to think strategically and give practical advice by balancing business needs with legal risks.  - Excel when working independently and collaboratively, and have a record of developing strong working relationships with a diverse client base.  - Comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, environment and able to successfully manage many projects simultaneously.  - Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with, and gain the respect of, stakeholders at all levels and functions of the Company.  Critical technical qualification and skills :  Qualification : LL.B. from Tier I Law School. Additional qualification of Cyber Laws and/or CS preferred but not mandatory.  - Number of years of experience: approx. 8-10 years PQE  - Experience of setting up and managing (including automating) complex legal and regulatory compliance function. This does NOT include Company Secretarial and Corporate Law related compliances.  - Past experience of handling compliance w.r.t. drugs & food laws, logistics related laws, meteorology laws, advertising laws, and data privacy laws.
