About SMERA :

SMERA Ratings Limited (formerly SME Rating Agency of India Ltd.) is a joint initiative of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Dun & Bradstreet Information Services India Private Limited (D&B) and leading public and private sector banks in India. SMERA commenced its operations in 2005 as an exclusive credit rating agency for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in the country. Within a span of 10 years, SMERA has assigned ratings to over 35254 MSMEs pan India.

SMERA is registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as a Credit Rating Agency (6th in India). More recently, the Company has received accreditation from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as an External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI) under BASEL - II norms for undertaking bank loan ratings. SMERA is also empanelled as an approved rating agency by the National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) under the "Performance & Credit Rating Scheme for Small Industries", approved by the Ministry of Small Scale Industries, Government of India.

Today, SMERA has achieved the reputation of providing comprehensive, transparent and reliable ratings, thus providing comfort and confidence to lenders and investors alike in decision making. SMERA Ratings have gained wide acceptability and are now an integral part of the risk assessment process within the lending and investing community.

Reporting Supervisor : National Sales Head

Job Role/Key Responsibilities :

- Principally responsible for all key acquisitions for major corporates in the Region

- Managing existing and new stream of business across industries and responsible for growing business with these identified strategic accounts through a team of associates

- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas

- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company's ambitious growth

- Working on stringent targets, the job holder will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business call

- Responsible for overall monitoring and implementation of all critical projects for the region

- Training and development of new resources and engaging with them on continuous basis

Knowledge/Skills/Attitude :

- Work experience of 8-9 years

- Experience of leading a team and provide the vision to reach the desired goals

- Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions

- Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business

- Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads

- A good network in the Banking industry would be an added advantage

Linguistic Proficiency :

- English, Hindi and Knowledge of local language will be preferred

Products to be handled :

- Responsible for the entire product portfolio under the Emerging Corporate Group
