About our Client - Our client is one of the leading chemical manufacturing companies with global presence. Based out of Mumbai they are looking for a seasoned Plant HR Generalist to manage HR and Industrial Relations based at the plant on the outskirts of Mumbai.

Job Description - Reporting into the HR Head you will be responsible for:

- Manage end to end industrial relations and manage external and internal unions

- Manage all liasioning with government officials and lead in the case of negotiations, VRS etc.

- Managing the end to end HR function for 2 plants

- Bringing forth innovative HR practices in the day to day functioning of the plant and bringing in the structure of 'self managed teams'

- Managing the career planning and development plans for a staff span of more than 400 people

- Be the interface between the employees and the management with focus on helping solve work related problems, interpreting policies Identifying the training needs of existing employees and conducting need based training

- Managing retention of employees, employee morale and commitment

The Successful Candidate :

- You will come with 8-15 years of experience with solid exposure to industrial relation managing multiple plants. Exposure to working with an MNC in the Chemicals / Pharmaceutical / FMCG company is preferred.
