Role :  As SM - Business Strategy & Market Insights, you will help shape the future direction of People Groups expansion in Global/New markets working directly with key senior stakeholders  You are responsible for both deep market intelligence and forward thinking vision for these markets. You will be the - go-to-expert- as you have immersed yourself in country/industry/category trends, drawn insight from effective analysis and set in motion a compelling, ambitious growth plan  Responsibilities :  - Analyze and determine key insights from key business drivers, competitive environment, trends and operating metrics  - Gather competitive intelligence through primary and secondary means  - Create a knowledge base and system for market opportunity analysis and product/business strategy  - Undertake strategic research activities for spotting global and macro economic trends in the internet industry at large & matchmaking / dating / wedding industry in specific  - Develop strategic plans / goals for assigned region and country, explore ideas like product localization, new market entry, and product roadmaps  - Lead complex and time-critical projects for senior leaders by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized approach for resolution  - Execute sophisticated quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights  - Facilitate market research activities to provide accurate and timely market and competitor information for strategic and operational decisions  - Plan, prioritize and manage projects within established budgets and deadlines  - Provide detailed analysis and industry assessments in collaboration with key business leaders  Requirements :  - Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics or a related discipline and an MBA from a top tier B-school (grad preference is IIT Mumbai/Delhi)   - 4 to 5 years of work experience with minimum 4 years of experience at a leading management consulting (preferred) or high performance in-house strategy team  - Experience in engaging across global markets  - At least 2 years consumer internet experience   - Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and in influencing larger teams  - Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives  - Distinctive problem-solving and analysis/business modeling skills and impeccable business judgment  - Superior interpersonal skills and executive presence and excellent communication skills  Good to have :  - Internet, mobile, e-commerce, or technology experience  - Global/APAC work exposure
