The Role: Market Leadership Team

Sewells Group is looking for a young, dynamic, entrepreneurial individual for the position of ‘Country Head’.
Each Sewells Group market operation is run by a highly-empowered team of professionals who are responsible for the overall management of the market operation. This team is led by the Country Head, and is responsible for:

Leadership:

- Establishing a strategic vision (36 months), strategy (18 months) and plan (6 months) for the business

- Engaging & motivating people

- Maintaining our unique culture and guarding against dilution

Execution & delivery:

- Client engagement & relationship

- Consulting aptitude

- Opportunity identification & strategic business development

Management:

- Financial management & reporting

- Business management & growth

- This is a leadership role that requires the incumbent to be comfortable donning multiple hats and achieving a balance between a ‘big picture view’ and ‘extreme detail orientation’.

The position is based out of Mumbai / Delhi.

The Person:

You are:

- An entrepreneurial individual driven by a desire to make a difference to / make an impact on your industry and organization

- A leader with the ability to influence and motivate an organization of high-potential, young professionals

- A strategic thinker, with deep understanding of consulting and outsourcing business models

- A disciplined, process-oriented professional, with a desire to lead an organization through an exciting growth journey

- A premier business school graduate, with 10-12 years of post-MBA industry experience

You have:

- Top-drawer written and spoken communication skills - comfortable speaking in public and to a large audience

- Proven track record as a leader with success credentials in a high-growth, high-volatility business environment

- Demonstrated consulting aptitude, with experience advising middle and senior management at large client organizations

- Ability to identify opportunities and challenges, and drive teams with rigour to act on the same

- Exposure to automobile sales and marketing (retail is a plus) function, and a keen sense of the opportunities and challenges being faced by the industry

Remuneration:

- Fixed remuneration in the range of INR 35Lpa – INR 40Lpa.

- In addition to the fixed compensation, the position also offers a significant entrepreneurial upside in terms of share of profit of the market operation.
