Role : Indirect Taxes - Senior Level  Job Purpose: (High-level summary of why does position exists and what value it adds to the organization)  - Be responsible for Indirect Tax compliance's for Company entities in India especially on Customs, Excise, VAT, Service tax, Foreign Trade policy (FTP)   - Working closely with the shared financial services, SCM and Commercial Teams in ensuring regular Indirect Tax compliances for Company entities in India.  - Managing Indirect Tax challenges including Audits, departmental queries, Show Cause Notices, appearances, appeals and litigation for all locations.  - Support Group and Regional Tax team on tax projects   - Optimize the indirect tax position in India, including monitoring the CENVAT balances.  - Others projects / Tasks assigned by Line Manager  Responsibilities :   - Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payments (supported by SFS). Maintain the tax compliance tracker to track all tax compliances on a monthly basis for all registered sites and regions  - Ensure compliance under indirect tax laws and procedures at manufacturing facility and warehouses/regional offices across India. Ensure excise compliance at 14+ warehouses across India along with SCM by setting up audit mechanisms and monitoring follow-up actions  - Lead and co-ordinate responses to Government notices, queries and audits on indirect tax related matters.  - Partner with Legal in all litigation matters related to Indirect Taxation  - Advice SCM, Manufacturing and Commercial teams on various aspects related to indirect taxation, including develops and drive process improvements and organize self-audit. Controller ship over processes related to benefits under the FTP, including Advance Authorizations, EPCG Licenses etc. Work closely with Supply Chain team over the same.  - Ensure completion of all VAT/CST assessments. Drive performance of tax consultants.  - Drive quarterly F forms collection, Review and monitor C Forms collections  - Proactively drive indirect tax saving taking advantages based on government policies, monitor developments around key Indirect Tax legislations like GST. Partner with Business and Finance teams for Projects and Growth initiatives involving Indirect Tax inputs.   - Lead and drive SEZ refunds and actions for CENVAT Balance reduction from Indirect Tax including representations to Government Authorities. Drive Tax Refunds with various tax authorities (Customs/Excise/VAT/Service Tax)  - Lead renewal of Customs Valuation Order (SVB) in consultation with Legal.  - Ensure compliance under indirect tax and Foreign Trade Policy regulations for the entity operating as an Export Oriented Undertaking (EOU).  - Support and guide other functions and stakeholders especially sourcing and logistics team at the EOU unit, over compliance and optimizations.  - Continuously review compliance to EOU Norms, ensuring Net Foreign Exchange requirements are met, monitor Duty Benefits and Duty foregone as per EOU norms  - Controller ship over the requirements of bonding, de-bonding, and extension of warehousing permissions and other related Customs and EOU matters.  - Ensure Service Tax Compliance for All entities including Reverse Charge mechanism, foreign services e.g. Bangladesh in case of SIPL  - Lead the coming India GST implementation  - Involve and manage tax works related to ERP systems change (i.e. SAP)   Competency :  - Sound knowledge of Excise, Customs and VAT Laws, Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) working knowledge of income tax  - Strong operation sense with familiarity of key tax, finance and operational measurements.   - Sound quantitative and analytical skills  - Sound drafting skills  - Strong problem solving skills  - Process-oriented and able to initiate and execute positive changes  - Strong stakeholder management, people management at different level of organization  - Strong interpersonal, influencing, facilitation and negotiation skills  - Good communication and presentation skills (English and India)  - High commitment levels and positive approach.  - Candidate with SAP knowledge is preferred  Education required : CA or LLB   Can contact on 0522 4933652
