Designation: - HR Business Partner -   Reporting Line: General Manager  Presently, we have been retained by one of our Principle Clients in Oman, to assist them with the sourcing of a senior HR professional to take on the position of Human Resources Business Partner. The Company is one of the leading FMCG Distribution Companies in the Sultanate of Oman, managing a multi-million dollar business, distributing premium brands throughout the country. The Company seeks to introduce a change management program that would need a strong Human Resources Business Partner to pilot the change, address business issues related to workforce development and productivity,providing advice and counsel on multiple initiatives and recommending solutions to complex employee relations and people issues.  Position Purpose :  - To implement and evolve the strategic 3 yr rolling plan for Human Resources, providing solutions, policies and practices that improves the overall performance of the company and individuals within it. Monitor performance and implement any necessary corrective actions.  - Identify & implement the optimum resources required to consistently deliver results in line with the strategic direction  - Developing, implementing and measuring activities to improve individual and collective productivity.  Oversee:  - Human Resource Function  - Legal and Administrative Function  - Employee Communication   Key Accountabilities:  1) Strategy:  Company Plans:  - Establish and lead execution of Company Human Resources Strategy. Create long term strategic plan for the unit as well as assist the Division heads to develop their own plans in line with the Company strategic direction.  - Develop an effective structure, processes and operational frameworks to support the implementation of the strategic and business plans.  Selecting Resource Providers:  - Evaluate available options and identify the best possible resource providers.  - Measuring & Implementing Strategy:  2) Human Resources:  Recruitment, Retention and Motivation:  - Ensure clear guidelines and tools are in place to formulate recruitment plans as well to ensure high levels of retention and motivation. Regular monitoring of reward mechanisms to define more effective performance.  Appraisal and Assessment:  - Conduct performance management reviews for Direct Reports and ensure proper systems are in place for appraisal and assessment of all employees.  Training Identification and Measurement:  - Identify the training requirements of the employees and ensure right training programs are in place.  3) Management:  Divisional Heads:  - Ensure consistent performance from the operational heads through monthly meetings as well as a half yearly PMR.  New Structures:  - Review existing organization structure and make necessary changes based on the requirements identified.  - KPI Setting, Measurement and Review  - Develop, measure and review HR KPI for the different business.  4) Policy:  Recommendations:  - Ensure that timely recommendations are made regarding required changes to the company policy.  Communication and Consistency:  - Take a lead role in ensuring that all communication regarding the Company policy is communicated in the most effective and consistent way.  - Develop initiatives to ensure effective implementation of the strategic direction and utilization of KPI's.  - Conceptualize, design and implement an HR strategy for the Organization and drive a Talent Acquisition process.  - Design, implement and Review HR Policies and Procedures.  - Lead Organization Development Initiatives - Employee perception surveys, Focus group discussions, competency assessment workshops, Internal communication workshops, Management Development Programs  - Lead Performance Management process - Mid and Annual Appraisals - Mentor Goal Setting Exercise, Performance reviews, Performance dialogues and feedback.  - Support and guide functional heads on various HR issues, policy clarifications, executions etc. Work closely with Functional Heads and Corporate HR to develop career paths for employees, conceptualize, design & drive key change initiatives in line with organizational Vision, Mission and Strategy  - Promote Employer branding by participating in external forums.  - Maintain HR processes in full compliance with the legal and regulatory (internal, external) framework.  Compete Competencies for the role:  LEADING THE TEAM:  - Leading the Team  - Managing Performance  - Developing Team Members  WORKING WITH OUR PARTNERS:  - Negotiating  - Strengthening Relationships  - Delivering Service  MANAGING OUR OPERATIONS:  - Planning & Development  - Executing our Processes  - Monitoring & Evaluating  GROWING OUR BUSINESS:  - Strategic Thinking  - Market/brand & Product Awareness  - Financial Understanding  OUR CAPABILITIES:  - Professionalism  - Results Orientation  - Change Orientation  - Interpersonal Integrity  Minimum Qualification : Masters in HR Management  The Person:  - We invite HR Professionals aged around 35 years from a premier institute and with experience of having introduced change initiatives, Minimum Experience of 7 years preferably from FMCG sector only.   - Candidates from MUMBAI, PUNE & DELHI may apply.
