Senior Role - Compliance - Bank

Position : Senior Position in Compliance (12-20 yrs)

Role :

- This position is with a Leading Bank

- This position is responsible for the oversight of specific policies and procedures employed by assigned lines of business of the Bank. This includes building a team for reviewing and reporting on various aspects of the assigned lines of business as well as championing enhancements to business processes to build and sustain a rigourous compliance program.

- This is a Leadership position and would involved building and managing a team

- Regular interaction with various buinesses of the Bank, and work with various stakeholders including business heads

Requirements :

- Very strong Leadership qualities

- Ability and experience in building and managing a team

- Ability to manage senior management stakeholders and have the ability to potentially face-off with them. Also have the ability to protect the team in such a scenario

- Ability to work in a highly matrixed organisation

- Experience in working in a constantly changing and evolving compliance related environment and be comfortable in such a scenario

- Good knowledge of the Banking/ Financial Services Industry Globally

- Prior experience of 12-20 yrs in the Banking Industry in the areas of Compliance/ Risk/ Operations/ Finance etc.

- Strategic thinking and influencing skills
