JOB DESCRIPTION :-

ADM APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT MAINTENANCE

Role & Key Responsibilities :

- The individual will be the global leader. He / she shall hold P&L responsibility for this business and will establish our Capital Market Platform practice as a leading unit in this space over the next 2-3 years

- Has to have P&L management credentials and also credentials as a Capital Market Platform SME/mature user

- This position is responsible for managing multiple large or complex projects in accordance to the project approach, structure, and charter in order to support the successful implementation of new applications and systems based on business and customer objectives

- Exercises a leadership role, ensuring the completion of projects within defined time-lines, budget controls and quality standards

- Strong ability to consult and educate clients on Capital Market Platform platform including business process design, including data quality, metadata and workflow technologies

- Define standards, guidelines, processes, and provide expertise to consistently address Capital Market Platform or similar platforms in implementation, functional support, interface development and QA

- Excellent functional understanding ; should be able to interface with BAs, Business Users and Client Teams

- Forecast internal resource capacity by tracking the progress of projects across the portfolio

- Should be able to mentor the existing team and build the resource base-

Key deliverables :

- Grow the Capital Market Platform practice globally - grow the business profitably

- Mentor the leaders under her/him.

- Guide development of Capital Market Platform Accelerators like utilities to monitor the environment, automate tasks, determine message latencies, throughput etc

- Work closely with external vendor, internal IT teams to provide ongoing support and maintenance on existing IT solutions.

- Oversee prompt and correct tracking and reporting of all requests and incidents, catalogue of change, and release, record of activity in company standard tracking tool

- Candidates should be prepared to work out of normal business hours such as weekends, client public holidays, or early mornings shifts according to the business needs

Essential Experience :

- P&L Management experience

- Overall 15+ Years of IT Experience in front, middle and back office projects for global financial intermediaries.

- Must have hands-on experience in working directly on Capital Market Platform and the interfaces.

Technical knowledge :

- Strong technical skills: Capital Market Platform API with Core Java preferred

- Hands on Experience in Capital Market Platform workstation, Capital Market Platform P&l, Task station, Scheduled Task, Reporting etc..

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Desired Candidate Profile :-

It is imperative for this person to have deep Capital markets experience. His key responsibilities will include:

Delivery Management & Program Management - Responsible for the co-ordination of multi-disciplined, cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth execution of offshore projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality within the planned cost & schedule.

People development - Responsible for developing, motivating, and providing leadership.

Business Development - Responsible for the development of the business relationship with the existing customer base and also for maximizing new business opportunities.

Accountable for ensuring all project staffing and deliverables within time and budget.

Managing client expectations and relationship

Domain artifact creation - Responsible for formalizing the value proposition and go-to-market strategy for the prioritized solutions. Provide thought leadership and IT transformation recommendations in various technology areas. Perform ongoing assessment of products, services and technology trends

P&L management

SLA management - Day to day operations management

Customer management - Developing and maintaining relationship with key clients, and providing presales support

Handling escalations from customer

Governance and reporting to customer and senior management

Develop reusable business case and pricing models for insurance solutions, for application to customer engagements

Collaborate closely with the global sales teams to develop proposals, presentations, and statements of work (SOW) and proactively recommend strategies to grow presence in existing accounts.

Will also be required to implement organizational initiatives for his set of employees and businesses
