Manager / Senior Manager - Manufacturing Sectors (Consumer Products, Life Sciences & Health, Automotive & Transportation)   Job Requirements  - Over 10 years of experience in Manufacturing sectors (Consumer Products, Life Sciences & Health, Automotive & Transportation) OR business / technology consulting with manufacturing clients   - Preference would be given to candidates who have worked in top consulting firms or top firms in the industry.   - Business knowledge or experience in multiple functional areas within the industry would be preferable. Candidates who have worked with corporate strategy profile in the sector would also be preferred.  - Candidate needs to demonstrate in-depth understanding of the industry / sector and the changing trends / innovations leading the sector  - An understanding of the innovation trends in developed markets would be preferred and exposure to working with international clients will be advantageous  - Good analytical, risk, and team management skills  - Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English  - Proficiency in client expectation management  - Basic criteria considered for the role needs the candidate to be proactive, passionate about innovation and have the ability to work under minimal guidance to deliver superior results  - Preference would be given to candidates with post graduate degrees in business or technology from premier institutes.  - Membership with industry associations would be an added advantage  Responsibilities  1. Work with global industry leaders to identify innovation focus areas, develop use cases  - Provide information on latest topics / trends / mega trends relevant for various markets / geography to global industry leaders working with research & innovation team and further work with global leaders to identify innovation focus areas in their region / business for the sector  - Work with research and innovation team to identify trends in the innovation focus areas and potential high level use cases using primary research, secondary research and information harvesting tools  - Work with ideation and design teams to lead / coordinate ideation with global sector experts and digital experts to explore and prioritize use cases  - Work with global team to enrich the use cases with relevant macro / micro / industry / sector information and develop them into business concepts.   2. Develop assets, collaterals and prototypes to take new offerings to market  - Support the validation of innovation use cases with leadership through the development of relevant assets and collaterals working with multiple teams including experience design, video and animation, and creative design  - Development of the assets / early stage prototypes leveraging multiple digital experts from technical competencies like advanced analytics, social media, mobility, M2M / internet of things, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, and robotic process automation.  - As the sector SME, in the above two stages support:  a. Solution development of the business case with industry specific insights  b. Identification of cross functional teams (CFTs) across competencies in achieving business level strategic objectives  c. Project management for the sector innovation programs, end -to -end ownership in the project from ideation to implementation  3. Domain Development  - Domain Development: Develop assets and methodologies, develop points-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, conduct public speaking and publish in industry periodicals  - Develop breakthrough value propositions in terms of products, services and business models for various businesses within the group and take them to market through a process of business planning and prototyping.  - Collaborate with senior management in development and enhancement of knowledge nuggets and thought pieces, methodologies & frameworks, and capability decks  - Creation of an internal and external ecosystem to support innovation i.e. experts, academicians and workshops, advanced labs etc. Play the role of process and content expert with project teams
