Senior Manager - Project - Real Estate Domain - Startup

Organization: A VC funded organization in real estate, construction, hospitality, media, travel and technology.

Designation: Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager - Projects

Actively searching for a Head of Projects for a VC funded organization with following being the highlights of the role:

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Prepare project estimates and negotiate construction contracts.

- Overall in-charge of the projects department and looking after seven Commercial & Residential projects in Lucknow, Kanpur and Moradabad.

- Identify and coordinate with project team (designer, architects, MEP, structural, etc.)

- Generate project scope for lease documents and/or contract bidding.

- Organize and participate in project meetings.

- Review, approve and monitor project schedules.

- Review, approve and monitor project budgets and change orders.

- Communicate with property managers to identify base building system needs.

- Maintain oversight and communications with contractors, tenants, owners.

- Ensure project quality control and delivery deadlines are met.

- Coordinate turnover or project/space and file all close out documentation.

- Provide monthly reports and project updates.

- Coordinate consulting and purchasing agreements.

- Perform onsite inspections as determined by complexity of project.

Key Desirable:

- Bachelor/Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.

- 07 to 15 years of related work experience.

- Must have experience in project management; cost estimation and engineering; accounting; scheduling; engineering; procurement; AND, close-out experience, as it relates to complex construction programs and projects.
