About our Client - Our client is a leading FMCG company that has a wide range of world class & innovative products. They are widely regarded as an employer of choice, and have established a significant presence in the India market. They are looking at embarking on an ambitious growth trajectory, and hence are looking to recruit a Senior Manager- Procurement, based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR.
Job Description - Reporting to the Head Of Procurement, you will be responsible for :
- Defining and implementing the overall strategy of procurement across all products.
- Managing relationships with key vendors and suppliers across the globe.
- Continuously benchmark & drive improvement projects to deliver competitive advantage (across product and price).
- Leading innovation and new product material development.
- Liaising with different functions in the supply chain practice to achieve operational efficient.
- Leading and managing a team of 5-6 people and be responsible for their learning and development.
The Successful Candidate :
- You will be a post graduate with around 10 years of experience in Procurement functions, ideally in the FMCG Industry.
- Further, you should have had the experience of managing large procurement spends and key vendor relationships.
- The client is looking for someone with excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead and manage a large team.
