We have this Opportunity with a Leading Telecom Company in Pune, Senior Manager:Demand Planning and Solution Management.

Please find the details with respect to the concerned profile :

Role purpose : To own and manage IT budget across functions and various lines of businesses and to drive strategic IT initiatives for supporting top management in planning and decision making. To continuously optimize demand management operating model & propose proactive solutions to business.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

- IT Planning & Budgeting (INR 16,000Mn annually)

- Drive IT budgeting for all Lines of Business and IT during multiple planning cycles by capturing demand scope, getting budgetary quotes from partners, aiding in business case preparation, prioritizing demands based on business value and creating presentations for budget approval.

- Continuous spend tracking and reporting of approved budget by liaising with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and partners

- Drive strategic IT initiatives

- Work on crucial internal consulting assignments and preparation of concise management presentations to support planning and decision making

- Preparation of function-wise IT roadmap in alignment with business goals along with other solution managers

Work on Request for Proposal for IT demands :

- Lead / assist in preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs) for transformation programs to obtain the best fit solution for the company.

- Aid in evaluation of multi-party responses/ proposals to select "best fit solution" by preparing Total Cost of Ownership matrix for shortlisting finalists for SCM to negotiate and close.

- Work with legal team to draft contractual terms to keep the company's interests protected.

- Drive proactive proposition to business through cross pollination of ideas by conducting workshops with product vendors and IT partners

- Development and continuous simplification of Demand Management Operating processes including automation and demand management reporting

Key performance indicators :

- Timely preparation and submission of IT budget for approvals & impeccable monitoring of spends

- Preparation of concise management presentations and reports on timely basis to enrich management decision

- Lead RFPs and techno commercial evaluation of demands including determination of value proposition and total cost of ownership

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

- Good telecom domain experience in business planning, budgeting and strategy formulation

- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Techno commercial acumen

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills

- Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.

Must have technical / professional qualifications :

- MBA/PGD(optional)

- B.Tech/B.E(Preferably electronics &communications engineering)-Mandatory
