- The incumbent will lead, manage and deliver the L&D function to facilitate achievement of current and future business objectives. He/she will identify and work with champions of learning across the organization to create a culture of learning for continuous improvement in people as well as processes.
The key responsibilities for the role will include:
- Partner with senior leadership to identify needs to close talent and performance gaps, promote maximum effectiveness and create a positive impact on sales, marketing, manufacturing, R&D and corporate functions through various Functional skills & Management Capability building programs.
- Design Learning and Talent Development Strategy in line with Business and HR Strategy and also create an execution roadmap. Drive and influence leadership for engagement, buy-in and create visibility for all L&D initiatives.
- Create budget for L&D investments and drive effective returns on investment.
- Design and document L&D related policies and processes.
- Identify current and future competency requirements (technical, functional, behavioral) for the organization and create a learning environment for acquiring the competencies at organization and individual level.
- Oversee the transition of the Company Training Academy (classroom and online version) to the next level.
- Create and execute an effective professional skills, leadership and technical skills curriculum which supports the short and long-term business goals.
- Build internal training capabilities and manage a healthy balance of external and internal trainer capabilities.
- Influence leadership team to sponsor and participate in learning and development initiatives, especially coaching and mentoring.
- Build a motivated team, develop KPIs and review achievement against deliverables for the L&D function.
- Drive Leadership Development and facilitate Talent Development through initiatives for succession management, career development, performance management etc.
- Establish and maintain a learning/training assessment system to evaluate the effectiveness of learning outcomes as per business needs and provide regular update to management.
- Create an alignment with the overall Group processes and initiatives as required.
