Sr Manager Internal Communications  About Our Client :   Our client is one of India's largest Telecommunications company.   Role Summary :   As an Internal Communications Manager, you will be responsible for helping to keep employees and management team informed on issues that affect performance in the workplace. You will play a major role in the business because you will be engaging employees and helping to motivate them to do their best for the company. You will be working with people at every level, keeping them informed on positive developments in the company and building understanding in the event of problems or issues.  Strategic skills are important in this role. You must be able to help develop an internal communications strategy, work with senior executives, members of the human resources team and departmental managers. Through supporting the internal communication's strategy, you must develop an understanding of company goals and values, and help build employee commitment to success.   To put the communication strategy into practice, you will need excellent English writing and presentation skills. You must be a good writer because you will be creating content for newsletters, internal websites, email communications, training and videos. You may have to make presentations to employees yourself to explain new company policies or at company events.  You must be a good team player. As well as working with senior executives to help develop strategy, you will be collaborating with designers, web developers and marketing communications professionals to create internal communications material, such as web pages, email messages, posters and online materials. You will also be in contact with employees and departmental managers to research stories for newsletters.  Duties and Responsibilities :   As an internal communications manager, you can expect your role to typically involve some of all of the following:  - Help to build an internal communications strategy in conjunction with Marcom, HR and senior managers.  - Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.  - Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as the corporate Intranet, newsletters, bulletins, and regular email announcements. You may also be required to work on the basic layout of content.  - Keep stakeholders abreast of progress and answer their questions.  - Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team for graphics/layout design.  - Use social media to communicate with staff internally.  - Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages.  - Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly.  - Provide support when internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organization perception and reputation.  - Potentially deliver presentations at organization events, or various departments within the organization.  - Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organization, either face-to-face or through regular written communication.  Key Performance Indicators :   - Quality of content development, quality of communications, timeliness of project delivery, employee engagement survey results- others TBD.  Internal :   - This position serves as a communication's tool for the Marketing, HR and other departments and has an impact on the overall organization; effective written and verbal communication in English is essential.   - This position also requires the ability to present and interact with employees at all levels of the organization (e.g., emails, presentation skills, content development, etc.).   - This role requires significant collaboration with executive leadership and various departments to develop programs and content which ensure business objectives are met.   External : While external communication is not a primary focus of this position, the Internal Communications Manager should feel comfortable speaking at events as needed.  For People Management Positions Only  No of people directly supervised : Individual Contributor  Total size of the team : Three (3)   - Head of Global Training & Sales Enablement   - Senior Manager, Global Training & Sales Enablement  - Senior Manager, Internal Communications  Qualification & Experience :   Educational / Academic Qualification :   Essential : Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or equivalent work experience  Desirable : Master Degree, desirable  Professional Certifications / Additional Qualification :  Essential:   - Advanced English written and verbal communication skills (preferably American Standard English) are essential.
